My almost 9 year old beautiful yellow lab Brandon was diagnosed with Grade 3 hemangiosarcoma and underwent a splenectomy on May 22, 2009. He was given 2 weeks by the pathologist. It is now 61 days! I left a message in the guestbook today (July 21, 2009 under Joanne) sharing the supplements I have Brandon on as well as providing a website that gives the research behind one of the supplements. I need more info re:HSA. My dog is 19 days post diagnosis of HSA to liver/spleen.We are doing everything possible for him. Surgery was not an option. We are giving supportive tx and fentanyl patches if he has pain. It is a roller coaster with eating. I have tried raw diet he ate a bit and now has sloed down again. Need some ideas to increase his appetite. Please let me know.
